Renewal or New subscription?

Hi,

My 5-device Total Security just expired. I intend to add more devices. Therefore, I intend to buy a 10-device Total Security from a reseller.

In terms of beginning the new subscription, Do I just go to Central and add the new activation code? Please advise.

    Hello.

Since your 5-devices Total Security subscription has expired, it is impossible to renew that subscription.

Now, after buying a 10-devices Total Security subscription from a reseller, first you need to do is to activate that subscription, by following these steps:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1715/

Next, reallocate ALL your devices to the new 10-devices Total Security subscription, by following these steps:

    That's all.

    Regards.

@Alexandru_BD Anything to add here, buddy?

    Cheers.

  • Hello @Sohel,

Yes. Simply enter the activation code of the new 10-device subscription in your Central account and let Bitdefender do the rest. Since your devices were previously covered by a Bitdefender subscription, this means the product should still be installed on those devices and when you activate the new subscription, if Bitdefender on those devices is connected to the Central account, they will become protected again automatically, so normally you are not required to move the devices from the expired subscription to the new one, in this scenario.

Thank you for renewing your security solution with Bitdefender and have a good time on our forum. 😉

    Regards,
