BitDefender Firewall blocking secondary network card traffic

I have two PCs in a test environment that have dual network cards installed. Primary connection to the network and Internet are fine, but the second connection (using static IPs on both PCs directly connected to each other) is blocked for all traffic.

When I disable the firewall, then traffic is good on the second connection. I am using GravityZone policy for PCs and have attempted to make exceptions for the second IP range, but no luck so far. All other settings I have checked appear good.

Nothing else is blocked, only the direct connection between the two PCs.

As an example

PC 1 - Connection 1 - 192.168.1.101 (dhcp) - all traffic is good.

PC 1 - Connection 2 - 172.16.1.101 (static) - no traffic at all

PC 2 - Connection 1 - 192.168.1.102 (dhcp) - all traffic is good.

PC2 - Connection 2 - 172.16.1.102 (static) - no traffic at all

Any advice would be helpful.

    Hello @CnH,

Please ensure that you have the following settings in your policy:

    • Firewall → Settings → Networks → Add both your IP ranges(192.168.) as trusted
    • Firewall → Settings → Adapters table → both Wired and Wireless adaptor types should have the Home/Office network profile set

If this does not resolve your issue please reach out to our Enterprise Support for assistance at
