Does BitDefender use similar kernel-level drivers like CrowdStrike?
Hey all -
In light of the recent global outage caused by CrowdStrike and the not-uncommon nature of security vendors in utilizing kernel-level drivers for endpoint monitoring and security, I was wondering if BitDefender home products as well as GravityZone (for enterprise purposes) use kernel-level security similar to that used by the CrowdStrike Falcon sensor, which was the cause of the global outage in recent weeks?

Useful article, but a little vague. It mentions kernel-level drivers once, which I assume means that these products use them, but it doesn't specifically or certainly answer my question. :/
