Youtube TV unable to set home location using Bitdefender

I used split-tunneling and put tv.youtube.com and Bitdefender stripped the tv. part off the address. When in Youtube TV, it does not know where my actual location is and puts my location at the Bitdefender assigned location instead. How do I get this to work?

Came across this post while searching for a solution. Split tunneling no longer works on Youtube for me and I have to completely shut down the Bitdefender VPN for Youtube to work.

Anyone have any ideas?
