Bitdefender Client Security - Policies & How They Work

Our company recently switched from another antivirus provider to Bitdefender Client Security on Windows networks. We manage approximately 1000 desktops and 150 servers, so as you can imagine having policies work is quite important.

How often do clients synchronize with the servers to check for changes in policies or added policies? Another question would be, when you assign the policy to a group do you need the policy to be scheduled to run at specific times, or can you select "One Time" when assigning the policy and have new systems added to that group use those policies that have been assigned "One Time"?

It would be very helpful if there is a whitepaper available that explains how policies work from start to finish.

One HUGE problem has been the Scan Activity Bar. I can specify in the Advanced Settings policy to disable the Scan Activity Bar, but it without avail always appears on the client machines. Can someone please help? We still have many systems to convert to Bitdefender and would like to get a handle on how this software works.:wacko::wacko:
