I just bought a new computer which has bitdefender installed. It wont update completely and freezes

I think more details are required in order for us to fully understand the issue.
- Do you also encounter an update error?
- Does the issue appear every time Bitdefender tries to update?
- If you click on Update in system tray does the update succeed?
- For how long did the issue occur: since installing Bitdefender, since installing a certain program, since restoring the PC to a previous date, since experiencing some system or Bitdefender crashes, etc.
- Do you have any 3rd party firewall?
For more details about a failed update, you can bring up Bitdefender, open Notifications and check the Critical tab for update errors. The errorcode and what caused it should appear on that page. Also, tell us what Bitdefender version you currently have.
