I think more details are required in order for us to fully understand the issue.
For more details about a failed update, you can bring up Bitdefender, open Notifications and check the Critical tab for update errors. The errorcode and what caused it should appear on that page. Also, tell us what Bitdefender version you currently have. Regards,
