Error when paying my Bitdefender account

Hello

I got myself in a mess, and I am hoping that I can get any of you folks to rectify it. I renewed my license on my one version of Bitdefender yesterday and some how Instead of showing a charge of CDN $84.97 I got billed CDN$1,730.00. So there was a massive duplication on my account. Can any of you help me remove the error, or point me to where I can get in touch with Bitdefender to resolve this mess before my wife finds out and trouble hits me

    ONLY Bitdefender staff can have access to your Bitdefender Central account, your devices, your payments/purchases and/or your subscription(s).
    So, you should contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:

    Chat is the fastest way to get in touch with Bitdefender Consumer Support.
    Select: Purchase & Manage Subscription -> My Bitdefender Central Account, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.
    NOTE: Bitdefender telephone support is not toll-free!
    Also, @Alexandru_BD (who works for Bitdefender) can take a look here and help you with the issue. You can PM him.

    I know that there can be extremely rare case of double billing when a customer can be charged twice for the same Bitdefender product or service. This may happen if:

    • You accidentally purchase a Bitdefender product or service more than once.
    • Your existing subscription is automatically renewed while you also purchase a new Bitdefender subscription, separately.

    However, in this case the amount is quite high, so perhaps multiple subsequent charges took place accidentally?
    I also think it's best to contact the Support teams as they have access to your Bitdefender purchase history and can revert the accidental charges, if these occured on Bitdefender's end, although I must say this is something very unsual..

    If possible, kindly let us know the outcome, I'm very curious about this one.
