So, when the VPN is connected, you cannot use Mozilla Thunderbird? If you connect to the email server without the VPN, does it work? Some email providers may not recognize your login if you're connecting through a VPN, especially if it's from a different country or IP address than usual. This can trigger security measures on the server side, blocking access until authentication is confirmed. Also, VPNs often change your DNS settings, which could lead to Thunderbird being unable to resolve the email server addresses properly. If the DNS lookup fails, Thunderbird cannot connect to the mail servers.

When I change the location from the Netherlands to Germany it seams to work normal.
But its not the best solution I think.
