is bitdefender stopping apple mail forwarded by rule from being executed?

Answers

  • Hello,

I suppose that if an email forwarded by a rule contains attachments or links that the antivirus software identifies as dangerous (malware, phishing attempts, etc.), it may block the email. This can prevent the email from being executed or opened. But in order to find out exactly if Bitdefender is interfering in any way with your emails, I think more information is required and perhaps the Support teams can take a look, if this is disrupting your work or daily activities on the device. To investigate this further, I would recommend contacting Bitdefender Support using the link below:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/help/

State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.

Let us know how it goes and if the antivirus was indeed the culprit here.

    Regards,
