This APP is CRAP

worked fine until iOS 18…now will not recognize account. Technical help was not helpful as still not working. Tech told me to uninstall APP…no fix.

Waiting for a call back….USELESS GARBAGE!

    I understand your frustration, but I kindly ask you to keep a decent and polite tone here. Thank you.

    I have a couple of questions. First, whose tech support did you contact? Was it Bitdefender's, because based on my findings, you don't have an open ticket with them, at least not with the same email address registered on this forum. Perhaps you used a different email address to contact them? Please clarify.

    Secondly, which account is no longer recognized, is it Bitdefender and are you usign the Central app on your iPhone? And what are the signs / symptoms that indicate this?

  • Update: based on my findings, there is indeed an issue here and I advise everyone encountering this to get in touch with the Support teams for troubleshooting. So far, the engineers have learned that sometimes this is solved with logout & login, and sometimes reinstalling the app helps. However, this doesn't always work, so they are investigating further.

    State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.

    Update: version 7.4.3 is rolling out and will fix the "Cannot activate purchased subscription" error message.
