Why can’t I connect to NC Lottery Com transact business

I cannot connect to NC lottery to transfer or add funds. The site says it cannot recognize my location. This began after I added your VPN. I have tried turning off the VPN as well as using the split tunneling feature. The result and error message is the same. The message says it cannot recognize my location and will not allow me to proceed.

    Hello @yodjj,

Try to clear the cache and cookies and exchange browsers as well, maybe even use incognito and check if you get the same result. If you have previously added the website / app to Split-Tunneling, then the connection is routed outside the VPN tunnel and this means that you are accessing the internet directly. Therefore in this case the VPN cannot be the culprit, in my opinion. Also, what happens now if you disable the VPN completely?

I've noticed that sometimes, banking websites or apps don't go well with a VPN connection. It can happen that when a VPN encryption is being used, it may trigger some warnings on their end. I don't think all banks have such mechanisms in place, but there are cases where, due to the over vigilance of several banks, connecting a VPN for example often triggers fraud warnings when you use it to conduct your online banking. Of course, I'm aware that this is not technically a banking website (if I'm not mistaken), but it does provide the feature of adding funds, like you mentioned, so basically transfers, and most probably it requires your location in this process and maybe when you first installed the VPN, it could no longer track you because you had another IP assigned and this didn't match with the information on your profile or something. Try the steps from the first paragraph and let me know how it went. Finally, you could try to do this using another device and see if you can perform the transaction.

    Regards,
