Error code 1020

I just received this error when trying to upgrade - Update encountered an error (error code: -1020). Please check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists please contact support for a resolution.

I have tried to search for this code but no results

Anyone know anything about this?

    How exactly is the computer connected to the Internet (VPN, proxy, etc)? This article covers the most common update errors. I can't find 1020 either, however judging by the error description, it has to do with the internet connection:

    If you click Update in system tray does the update succeed?

  • Hi

    I do connect via a VPN and tried with it on and off, same problem. Just rebooted the computer and all seems to be well again. This time it updated the database only and that worked fine. If I go to "About" it says the last product update was today. Safe to say the reboot did the job I think.
