Bd.is '09 And Media Center On The X360...
Hi all, been using BD for years and love it. I just upgraded to IS 2009 and want to get Media Center Extender set up so that I can stream data to my Xbox 360. My setup is as follows:
Linksys WRT54G wireless router
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit
X360 on home network
I have turned off Stealth Mode (now just called "Block Port Scans" in '09) and have added my computer's IP to my home network's trusted Zone. It looks like I'm also supposed to make some exceptions so that Media Center can connect but I have to admit, I cant figure out how to do this. I mean, I see where to do it, but there are more settings to configure that Microsoft provides.
MS wants the following: Media Center Port Settings setup but when I go to add an exception, I see options for program paths and command lines and inbound and outbound..I have no idea what to set and what not to set. (See attached.)
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
