Fake Alert Virus/win32.worm.trl

Options

I recently got infected by a set of viruses that BD claims to have blocked. They were identified as "win32.worm.trl" and Trojan Fake Alert AQB. I ran BD and it does not detect them. When I put in a floppy disk Bit Defender announces it has blocked the virus and moved it to quarantine. When I look at the quarantine list it shows the infected file as A:\autorun.inf. If I plug in a USB I get the same messages but the quarantine shows N:\autorun.inf which is the USB drive. (See attachment) What's more the floppy drive is making noise and the light comes on at regular intervals. The problem is similar to this thread:

How do I get rid of this? Oh yeah, there are no INF files in either location. Thanks. I am using BD version 11.0.17.

This is a pain in the a** just like the old Jeffo.

Download Flash_Disinfector ( http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/s...Disinfector.exe ) and save it ot your Desktop.

    2. After downloading, double-click on Flash_Disinfector to run it.

    3. Just follow the prompts and continue until it begin scanning.

    4. If asked to insert your flash drive or any removable device including USB Pen Drive and Memory Stick, please do so.

    5. It will scan removable drives, wait for the scan to finish. Done.
