How Often To Schedule Scans And Will It Wake Up From Sleep Mode To Do It On Its Own

Hi ,
I had posted a while back but forgot to come back to check replies.
I want to know what is recommended for the scans. How often should i schedule the following scans Deep system, full system, quick system and contextual scans. Also, if i schedule these things for at night.. will it automatically wake my pc from sleep mode to do this?? please reply as i would really like to know this info. Especially if my pc will wake on its own to do these scans
