Open Port On Firewall
Hi All,
I need to open port 1433 on my computer to be able to access SQL Server on the machine from a remote machine.
I have tried to add a rule with no program path, allow and 1433 set as the port. I click OK and nothing. I cannot see anywhere in the list where this rule is added. Every rule listed has a program attached?
I simply want to open a port. Thats it.
Can someone please tell me how to do this in BD. It should be simple. BD seems to hide simplicity.

Rules without programs can only be seen in the "Advanced rules edit" window.
