Please Help Me To Recover The Virus Scan List!

BitDefender is very good anti-virus I think. However, some times system tasks in virus scan options -disappeared after some error. I don't know why and when this situation happen.

Please tell me how to recover this virus scan list without reinstalling BitDefender?

Hi there,

Here is what you will need to do:

1. Reboot the PC in Safe Mode.

2. Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BitDefender\Desktop\Profiles

3. Delete the file tasks_system.xml you see in that folder.

4. Download the one attached to this reply and put it in that folder.

5. Reboot the PC in Normal Mode.

6. Open BitDefender to make sure everything is OK.
