Undetected Virus

I have bitdefender 2009 and I know my comp is infected coz I see some .exe's being copied to my external drives like Flash disks. It doesn't affect external Hard drives. I had a flash drive scanned by Mc af** and it gave me the following:
3/11/2009 2:20:57 PM Deleted explorer.exe G:\FunnyVideos.exe W32/Generic!floppy (Virus)
3/11/2009 2:21:23 PM Deleted bdss.exe G:\mu\DTV.exe W32/Generic!floppy (Virus)
This second one infected all the folders in the Flash.
My updates are a week old as I use the weekly.exe to update my antivirus.
