Lost The Internet

Hello, FYI I am a network admin. for a company for 25 years, I am not a total nuub.

I downloaded and ran the free conficker tool. (www.bdtools.net - bd_network_tool .exe) I installed and ran it on my local XP pc. It ran fine and came up with no priblems. Life is good. Till I saw that I had lost my internet connection. Did all the normal testing, cleanned Reg, uninstalled the tool, scanned pc, changed ip, checked network firwall, turned firewall off, del and made new connection, etc etc, still no internet. I am logged on to all of our servers just fine.

Can someone help?
