Bdrsdrv Service Failed To Start

Hi

I run bitdefender 10 free edition on windows xp sp3 (+all updates till 29 mar 2009). While i boot my PC the system seem to hang for about 10-20 seconds. when i cahec my evemt viewer i get the error

The BDRsDrv service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.

i found similar issue reported at post http://forum.bitdefender.com/lofiversion/i....php/t1686.html but the solution offered there does not work. Neither do i see any file named BDSdrv.sys in my Program Files\Softwin\ folder nor do i have a hidden device listed in my device manager view
