Freshly Installed Bd 2009 Refusing To Scan!

i recently bought BitDefender 2009 total security, and installed it on my vista ultimate 64bit operating system. after a couple of weeks, i noticed that i would no longer get the scan window in the morning when i checked it. after attempting to scan through the normal interface, and then attempting a manual scan through the start menu, i was still unable to scan my computer in ANY way. i then reinstalled your product and it worked for 1 day, and now i cannot scan again.


the error message that i receive just says "scan failed to execute" . this computer is used frequently for projects and other work that requires it to be scanned constantly, so as you can imagine im extremely concerned with spending money and time to install and maintain a security measure that does not work. please advise with a solution as soon as you can
