Bd And Windows Live Messenger (wlm)

Hi there

I have had BD Total Security 2009 for about a month or so and ever since I installed this program I have not been able to sign into WLM. I have been busy with other things so WLM hasnt been much of a priority to try to resolve the problem but I reinstalled windows XP for other reasons and installed everything and even this time, WLM still wont sign in. I have Windows XP SP3 and BD Total Security 2009 up to date. I havent really changed any of the settings.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it

In BitDefender - Antivirus - click on Custom Level and uncheck "Scan yahoo messenger traffic", "Scan windows live messenger traffic" and "Scan http traffic". Now try to see if you can use WLM.
