Scanning Fewer Drives
I have 3 hard drives in my PC, which means that Bitdefender takes several hours (about 3) to scan everything. Is there any way that I can just scan my main HD, as the other two are merely used for backup purposes.
I am running Windows XP professional.
Thanks.

Hello Eric,
You can go to BitDefender Security Center (Advanced mode) -> Antivirus -> Virus Scan and click New Task. There, write the name of the new task, click Custom to set scanning options, then go to the Paths tab and select exactly which drives/folders/files you want to be scanned.
By default, there are showed in that list all drives from your system. Select the ones you want to scan (check the checkboxes in from of the names). If you want to add a folder/file to that list, click Add folder(s), select the items you want to add, and click OK.
Click OK on the New Task window and the task will be saved under the User tasks category, in BitDefender's interface so you can use it whenever you want. You can also schedule the new task to automatically run whenever you want.
