Bitdefender Antivirus 2009 Firewall Issues

Hi guys

I recently installed bitdefender 2009 antivirus from the bitdefender website and just noticed that it had blocked the port i used for u torrent.

I have a port (which i forward from my router) for u torrent ( enabled in windows firewall). this port was working fine untill yesterday( before downloading bitdefender).

But now it has stopped working.

So this is the question:--

how do i open up a port in bitdefender firewall ?

Here's a few things that you can try:

Go to Advanced View - Firewall - Rules and click on the "Reset rules" button. Then open utorrent, select Allow if you get a pop-up from the Firewall and then click on the Advanced button from the Rules tab. Locate the rule for utorrent and move it to the top of the list. If it doesn't connect, try disabling "Firewall is enabled" in the Settings tab in order to see if like this utorrent works.

Another way to test where the cause of the issue is located is to take the WAN cable from the router and plug it directly into the system that is having this situation, this way bypassing the router.
