  • Hi there, I had the same problem as you, and I have an answer. You posted in the right area, as it is BitDefender that's the problem here.

More specifically, it's the Real Time scanner that seems to be preventing Visual Studio from doing what ever it has to.

So, to disable the Real Time Scanner, and fix this error, open the bit defender control panel, go to Advanced View, Click the Antivirus tab on the left, and Uncheck the check box at the top.

I will submit an error about this to the Bit Defender staff about this.

  • EDIT: Ok, it looks like I can't contact their support. Looks like it's up to you.

  • Hello xXDarknessXx and TGP1994,

Do you have Behavioral Scanner enabled? If yes, try to disable it and see if you still have the problem.

To disable it, go to Antivirus -> Shield -> Scanner settings and uncheck the Behavioral Scanner.

    Cris.

Heh... I actually kind of jumped off the BitDefender bandwagon after that, sorry.
