Bit Defender Total Security 2009?
After months of putting up with BD TS 2009 and the grey ball of insecurity, I have decided to hang up the gloves and go for something less experimental.
It's been fun, not knowing how many port scans I've had against me. Fun being told vserv.exe is not responding, reboot and contact support if it continues. Fun with basic settings that reset themselves without me doing a thing. Fun, fun fun.
I still have a stable version on my laptop, and gave the spare license to my mate who says it works like a charm.
My main PC is riddled with dodgy registry entries (cleaned by BD to no avail), and is quite literally a dodgy lump of carbon.
I recommend BDTS2009 or whatever for only a CLEAN, brand new PC, otherwise it's like looking after a little spoiled brat for the evening. Every evening.
I may go back to Kaspersky one day, but never BD.
