Last System Scan You Started Was Aborted Before It Finished

I occasionally get the message "Last system scan you started was aborted before it finished." I know the scan finished, because I watched it finish! Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix? I'm running Vista x64.

    In order to resolve this issue please try 2 things:


    First, run another scan with BitDefender on the system and make sure it finishes, then restart the system. Check if the notification is still present.


    If yes, please disable UAC and run the first set of patches listed in this KB article:
