Xp, Ms Updates Being Stopped

<img class=" /> For whatever reasons my XP & other MS updates are being stopped from installing.


BDIS 2008 seems to be the cause and I can't find a solution.


My year of BD torment ends in about six weeks so maybe a solution isn't as important as it should be.


Any suggestions for now?

    OK. My computers run XP-sp3, ntfs, and are set to download MS updates but to hold them until I click the Shield icon in the lower right tray.


    For a month or so the computer NOT running BDIS handles MS updates like expected. Shield appears, I click, updates are installed.


    The computer running BDIS-2008 downloads the updates but never shows the MS shield icon and updates never happen unless I manually visit MS and force upgrades to happen.


    Maybe I'm jumping a few levels of logic here but I'm convinced BD is the trouble maker in this.


    I'm also searching outside of BD for solutions. I found a possible one and in a few weeks I may know if BD is innocent.
