    Hello anderb ,

Usually these types of Firewall tests are very restrictive and in most of the cases , your computer will fail the test . As long as the BitDefender Firewall is enabled and under the Network tab the Trust Level is set to "Trusted Local" and the Stealth option to "On" , you don’t have to make any worries . Your computer is well protected and no one will be able to access your system without your will.

  • Hello anderb,

ShieldsUp is a remote service that tests your IP for replies to unsolicited packets, different ports status and port scanning. As Alex said above, if you have Trusted Level set to Trusted Local (or Unsafe), Stealth set to On or Remote and you enabled the option Block port scans (in Firewall Advanced Settings), then everything is OK and you should pass all ShieldsUp tests.

If you still fail one or more tests, then your computer might be behind a router or server. In this case, ShieldsUp is not testing your computer, but the router/server. And, in this case, BitDefender Firewall cannot do anything about it, since it can only offer protection for your system, not for routers/servers.
