Scheduling Malware Scan

Is it possible to set the malware scan to longer than every 7 days? I'd rather do it every 14 days or once a month. It takes a long time to run, usually several hours.

Hello Dave in TX ,

Here is what you have to do :

1. Open BitDefender and click on the Switch to Advanced View button .

2. Select the Antivirus module and click on the Virus Scan tab .

3. Right click on Deep System Scan and choose Schedule .

4. Select Periodically , from "At every" you will have to choose 1 and from the right drop down menu you have the possibility to select minutes, hours, days, weeks or months .
