Options

After installing BitDefender on my Vista Home Premium machine it has completely disabled http://localhost/ brpwsing only to provide the following error on all pages;

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0129'

Unknown scripting language

[mypage].asp, line 3033

The scripting language 'JScript' is not found on the server.

I have spent an entire day trying to resolve this issue with no luck. I have emailed and emailed tech support and have not received a reply of any sort except to tell me to run some useless utility that didn't do a thing. I have tried and tried to get help with this issue but it is not happening. I have uninstalled the software and it is not helping. Whatever they do on installation is DEVASTATING!!!! This is the major issue that has happened but there are at least a dozen others that have cropped up throughout the day. I suggest anyone using Vista seriously rethink this software.

    Hello VTTechy

    Please perform the following changes :

    1. Open BitDefender, go to the Advanced View button in the upper menu and click on Firewall . Temporarily disable it then look if you have the same issue .

    2. If everything is working with this module disabled , enable it , then click on the Network tab from the right. Here , under "Network Configuration" , select your network adapter then pull down the drop-down menu and select "Trusted Local", Stealth to "No" and Generic to "Yes" .

    If you still have the same issue please download and run our uninstall tool from the next link:http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall and let us know if the same thing happens with BitDefender uninstalled .

    Thank you .
