I got Bitdefender internet security 2009 as antivirus on my computer. It scanned and detected Gen:Trojan.Heur.A1916E9191 in my computer. It was moved to quarantine bcz deletion was not possible.

I want to know if this virus was completely nuetralized or not. Does bitdefender internet security 2009 powerful in detecting all kind of trojans? I uploaded the log file of the computer scan.

    Hello vattakaya ,

An infected file which is moved to Quarantine , does not represent a threat for the security of your system , because the file in question is automatically encrypted by BitDefender and it cannot reproduce or execute itself . After a file is moved to Quarantine you will have to simply remove it .

    Thank you .
