Blocking A Program From Accessing The Internet

Hi

I have BIS 2009 installed in Vista 32bit .......

Is there a way by which I can block "A WHOLE" program or installed software from connectiong to the net ?

I know I can block individual exe files from connection , but I want to block any exe related to some software by one rule .......

Let me see if i get it.

Do you want to block any exe from a specific software folder with only one rule?

It cant be done.

Lets take for example Call of Duty 4.This game has in its main folder 2 exe-s one to run the single player and one to run the multiplayer .To be able to block COD 4 to acces the net you need to make rules for each of the 2 exe-s.

With some firewalls you have the ability to use a global rule to block any software that doesnt have a rule already made.
