Bitdefender Online Scan

this issue has been over a year 1 now and sometimes they fix but then again after some days the issue is back.


sorry if i say this but how good are Bitdefender Lab to fix an issue and then that issue never comes back? as all other antivirus companies?


I click scan-online and the updates failed to update and i have 3Mbit/s broadband so it's not that slow....


when will this be fixed for ever so milion of people out there can scan ONLINE with Bitdefender ?

    Hello Vexil ,


    Please try the steps bellow :


    1. Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools and then click "Uninstall BitDefender Online Scanner v8".


    2. Close Internet Explorer when prompted and click "OK".


    3. Now go to the next location : C:\WINDOWS\ and look after a folder called "BDOSCAN8" .If you will not find it there then the Online Scanner was succesfully removed . If you do find it please delete it .


    4. Now try to perform an online scan and look if is working .
