How To Have Scans Run Minimized

I have two scans scheduled to run automatically: A deep scan once a week and a full scan daily.

Whenever they run, they grab the screen focus. This can be annoying, especially when you're in the middle of writing something or editing images.

Don't see anything in the help file about setting these scans to run minimized. Is there a way to do so?

TIA for any help.

This has been sitting here without a reply for over two weeks now. Would appreciate a reply.

    Thank you.

  • Hello Gene,

Scan tasks have an option to Minimize to system tray. Go to Antivirus -> Virus scan, right click the desired task and select Properties. Then check that option (on the Overview tab) and click OK. Next time the task is run, it should automatically be minimized to tray.
