Bdagent Application Error; Wrong Product Online ; Can't Open A Ticket

Hello I hope that someone in the forums can assist with these issues:


1. bdagent.exe Application Error


After installing bitdefender 2010 on Windows 7 and rebooting a few times. The agent dies right after booting up. If I restart it from the command line it runs fine. Exact Error is attached as a jpeg. Note that the agent seems to run fine if I restart it from the command line.

2. in the bitdefender my products website, the product listed is bitdefender 2008 but I have 2010


3. in the bitdefender my support/contact customer care website, I can not open a request; it gives some errors about inserting something in a DB.

    1. Please let us know if you receive this error message every time your computer starts up. Also, please go to the next location:C:\ProgramData\BitDefender\Desktop\Temp archive these files and reply to the email that we have sent you with the resulting archive attached along with the reports created after you follow the steps from the next BitDefender article: http://www.bitdefender.com/KB389 .


    2. The BitDefender account is designed to display only the license key that you have purchased. I searched for your account and your serial number is valid for BitDefender Total Security 2008. Even if you upgrade to our latest version of BitDefender, this information will not be updated in your account.


    3. Please take a screen-shot of the error message that you receive and reply to our email with it attached.
