Bitdefender Crashes While Trying To Start Engine

Hello,

Thank you for making this available!

With that said, I am unable to get the scanner to work. The system boot_s and the UI comes up, but as it is trying to start the engine, it simply dies. No error message or code.

Please advise.

I am running the 2010 version.

First, please make sure that you have the latest version of the LiveCD. You can create the bootable disk using this .iso:

http://download.bitdefender.com/rescue_cd/...0_3_08_2009.iso

Thanks. I believe I have the latest. However, I think I know what's happening. The machine in question has less than the minimum required memory which I wasn't aware of until after further investigation.
