Making My Hp Network Printer Work?

Hello. I´ve installed bd2010 internet security.

My question is how do i get my printer to work. I have a hp 2575 network printer. It´s connected thru my router to my pc w vista 64bit.

It worked before bd.

I allso want to use the scanning function in the printer.

It works if i lower the firewall.

Hello Magnus,

Try this:

• open BitDefender Security Center in Expert Mode
• go to Firewall -> Network
  
• select the adapter which is connected to the same network as the printer, then change it's Trust level to Trusted local and it's Stealth Mode to Remote
  
• close BD Security Center and try again the printer
