Thunderbird Inbox Disappears Into Quarantine
Today BD discovered a virus in an email attachment in my wife's Thunderbird Inbox, that had not been detected by the earlier version of BD. It asked what we wanted to do, and I specified that it should be quarantined, thinking (stupidly) that it would just quarantine that message. Instead the whole Inbox disappeared into the quarantine area. Luckily, after a while it showed up in the quarantine listing, and I was able to restore it. My suggestion: could BD at least warn that this might happen, and ask if we want to go ahead...? I believe many email clients use the file name of Inbox, so this would be a simple test... Thanks.

Thanks, Alex. I have xpunged the Inbox, after retrieving it from quarantine, so I can't easily reproduce the situation. The viruses were detected as a result of a scan. It sort of makes sense as the Inbox is just one big file, and BD probably doesn't know the format of every email client's inbox... I just thought a warning would be nice if there is any way for BD to detect the situation! Thanks for your prompt answer!0
