Update Error

For the love of god please help! I Could not get v10 to install, so I used the unistaller it worked great im am installed now. I am now having trouble connecting to the update server.

It says "Update error:

Could not connect to the update server.

Please check your internet connection and try again.

So, on the update screen it says my last update was never.

I have added bitware to my Microsoft firewall

I shut down my webroot spysweeper and everything else I could

Oh yes I check my internet connection first

I have rebooted twice

My events screen says Warrning 13 times cuz I tryied 13 times, however it also says I finished one scan.

My internet connection is fine. Why wont bitware recognize my internet connection?

Did you first deleted your previous anti-virus? If not follow my instructions in this topic.

Did you allow livesrv.exe in the windows firewall to allow access to the internet? That process needs access to the internet to receive updates. You will find it a the follow location X:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender Update Service\livesrv.exe (you have to change the X by the letter of your hard disc)
