  • Hello frydek,

    Please open BitDefender in Expert Mode, click on the Antivirus module and under the Shield tab click on the Advanced Settings button . BitDefender Active Virus Control Settings window should be displayed. Please disable this option then click on Ok.

    In case there are any error messages, please take some screen-shots, upload them on http://www.sendspace.com/ then post here the download link .

    Steps that will help you make a screen-shot:

    1. When the window is on you desktop press the PrintScreen key (PrintScreen is located at the top of the keyboard, at right. At this step we can not see anything, as the picture is copied into Windows' clipboard);

    2. Open the standard Paint program, that comes with every Windows installation (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint);

    3.Paste the picture (Edit -> Paste);

    4.Save the file into the JPEG format into a location of your choice and reply to our email with the image attached.

    Thank you.

    With regards to ie 8 ,you should be able to roll back to ie7, un install it, ie8 is not supported by a lot of addon vendors as yet so i personally don't use it i use ie7 without probs

    should not be a problem to run ie8 really... its just a problem after installing BD... same with msn and Firefox. The are bugging and they never did before...
