Slow Download, Bad Downloader!

Is there a reason why a company such as BitDefender expects customers to:

A.) Have to download their new version?

B.) Download it at a maximum of 50kbps?

C.) Use a downloader that has no statistics other than a percentage?

I've been trying forever to get alternative download sites, but because the downloader is used I can't get the full package anywhere. By the time I actually get 2010 my license will expire!

You can find complete steps on how to upgrade to BitDefender 2010 in the next thread:http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=14997 . After you choose the product for which the upgrade will be performed, you will find the download links for both 32 and 64 bits installation packages.

The BitDefender installer that you are referring to, will automatically download the BitDefender installation package compatible with your system and it will not show you a an estimated time view of the download, like you see with a browser. If you want that, you can download the full installation kit from one of the next links:
