Unable To Quarantine Or Block Access To Infected File
Hello everybody,
I am using Bitdefender Internet Security 2010. Http scanning is disabled by default realtime protection. I tried to download eicar test zip file using firefox. Bitdefender showed popup that it cannot delete, disinfect or quarantine so it denied access to it. I saw the file in the temp folder and when I scanned with contextual scan BD removed it. I tried again with the same eicar test zip file and BD said it blocked acces to the file. I saw the file in the temp folder. This time I used ccleaner to clear the temp folder and ccleaner removed the eicar file. My question is why did bd allow ccleaner access to the file when it says it has denied access to it?
