Windows 7 Error Message Bdagent.exe

I've recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7. As instructed I did a clean installation of win 7 (re format HD etc etc)

On inital installation BD2010 worked fine in Win7. I have just installed a new graphics card (XFX geforce 8600GT) and office 2007 and BD2010 won't start and I'm now getting the following message.

c:/program files/bit defender 2010/bdagent.exe

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail."

Anybody have any ideas?

For start please take a screen-shot of the error message that you receive, upload it on http://www.sendspace.com/ then post here the download link . After that, if possible, we would like you to follow the steps bellow :

1. Open My Computer.

2. Browse to

C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2010

- considering that BitDefender was installed on the default C partition

3. Doubleclick on the supporttool.exe file .

4. Click on Next, wait a few minutes for the progress bar to complete and then click on Finish .

5. Go to the desktop, upload the report on http://www.sendspace.com/ then send me a PM with the download link or reply to our email with the report attached .
