If I Hide The Antiphishing Toolbar, Is It Still Working?

Sorry for such an elementary question, but I can't find the answer in Help. I don't want the toolbar displayed - it wastes nearly a centimeter of screen space - but if I hide it, does it continue to work?
[it would also be good if it would integrate into one of the other toolbars, or even better, sit as a button on the "File Edit View ......." bar]

The BitDefender Antispam toolbar will still be active if you hide it in your Internet browser . On both browsers, where our toolbar is supported, the procedure to hide it is the same : click on View from the top, choose Toolbars then click on the BitDefender Antiphishing Toolbar.
