Bd 10 Av Plus

Why is BD 10 AV Plus PAID suddenly taking up so much ram? BDSS.EXE is consuming 130 Megs on a 98 SE machine with only 384 Megs. BD was VERY slow to address the non-responding services issue -- which is back again. But will BD please address this RAM issue?

Thank you.

    Hello dw2108 ,

Please repair BitDefender following the steps bellow and let us know if the same issue occurs after that :

    1. First , please click on Start from Windows and choose Control Panel .

    2. Open Add or Remove Programs then look after BitDefender Antivirus v10 .

    3. Select it then click on Change . Hit Next when the new window will appear then select Repair . Click one more time on Repair when the new window will show up .

    4. Wait until the process is over then reboot your computer when you will be asked . After your computer starts up a new BitDefender window will come up . Please click on Install and then wait until this process is finished .

    5. Click on Finnish then reboot your computer .

    Thank you.

  • BD is still hitting around 127 MB to 130 MB of RAM. Could there be a file on my PC which BDSS.EXE finds suspect?
