Virus Scaning Every Week?

Hey,

Is there any way to change the 7 day virus scanning?

Frankly, the scanning takes way too long to complete. I'd rather have it every 30 days.

Is there any way that i could change that?

Hello xInfinity,

In order to schedule BitDefender to scan your system once on the month please follow the steps bellow :

1. Open BitDefender, click on the Settings button, choose the Expert Mode then click on Ok.

2. Select the Antivirus module and click on the Virus Scan tab.

3. Right click on Deep System Scan and click on Schedule . There, select Periodically and from "At every" you will have to choose 1 and from the other drop down menu you will have to select what you want -"months".

4. After that select the Start date and the hour when the scan will start.

Note: BitDefender was designed to show you that you have an issue if you do not scan your computer within 6 days. That is why, if you schedule your computer to run a scan at every 30 days you will receive the warning that you have not scanned your computer for x days.
