Bitdefender Popups

Recently a virus has infected my computer; BitDefender seems to have been unable to get rid of it, but is deleting the files it makes (generally a random four-letter sequence and .tmp, located in C:\WINDOWS\Temp, with a fake svchost.exe inside; BitDefender deletes the svchost.exe).

Now, I've already realized BitDefender isn't going to get rid of the virus on its own, but it gives a pop-up every time it deletes the new file and it is very annoying, since it disrupts whatever I am doing and I need to click OK to get rid of the window. This popup is what my question here relates to.

Is there any way to stop these popup windows from appearing?

I don't really need to know that BitDefender is deleting those files, and it is incredibly irritating. I've already tried disabling their regular popup option but that's apparently only for windows that don't have an OK button; it hasn't worked.

solved the problem

it was a registry thing

after unistalling I deleted all the reg containin bitdefender

and then installed................it worked

The option you are looking for is here:

- BitDefender Security Center (Advanced)

- Antivirus -> Shield

- click on Custom level

- uncheck Show warning when a virus is found

- click OK
