Unauthorized Change To Windows

Windows vista is now complaining an unauthorized change was made to windows...

I have installed TotalSecurity 2010. Attached a jpg showing the error code.

SPybot is not installed, house call is also uninstalled. I don't know which system file was changed but would be very curious to know.

I like bitDefender's product, I just want to continue using it, but... My system is now unstable.

Oh yeah, this popup goes away when uninstalling BD.

Anyone got this ?post-29972-1261545321_thumb.jpg

  • Hello floydus,

In order to overcome this sittuation we recommend you to follow the steps bellow :

    1. Open BitDefender in Expert Mode, click on the Antivirus module and under the Shield tab click on the Advanced Settings button .

    2. The BitDefender Active Virus Control Settings window should be displayed. Click on the add button, represented by the plus (+) sign and browse to the next location: C:\WINDOWS\system32 .

    3. Here, select the next executable file: "WGATray.exe" and choose Open.

If the same issue occurs after that try to disable Active Virus Control and test if the same issue occurs .

    Thank you.
