Live Assistance Kills Internet Connection

Hey,


Whenever I click on that chick in live assistance my router looses its internet connection. This is NOT a joke and NOT a false positive. I have testet this for an hour now. I can't really imagine whats happening here. I am a Cisco Certified Network Administrator - so I know quite some stuff about networking and routers. However this is a riddle to me. How can a webpage kill a routers WAN-connection ?

    Using Internet Explorer 7 instead of FireFox resolved my problem.


    Still curious what can cause an error like this. A whole company WAN connection disconnecting because of one guy browsing a website with FireFox..... omg omg......

    I can reach livechat while using FireFox without loosing my internet connection. I suggest that you follow diagnostic steps Are you using the latest version of FireFox. Good that it works now.
